Canada‘s CBC and the co-founders of The Black Academy and Bay Mills Studios, Shamier Anderson and Stephan James, are teaming for The Legacy Lounge. The four-part series will feature conversation with new Black Academy honorees, highlighting and celebrating their contributions to Canadian society and the legacies they are creating. The Legacy Lounge will premiere during Black History Month in February 2026 on streamer CBC Gem, with a TV launch on CBC also planned, with timings following at a later date. Bay Mills Studios, the production house Anderson and James founded, is co-producing with Project10 Productions, which makes CBC comedy series Son of a Critch.

The Muzic Lounge; a diverse music program incorporating live performances, music reviews, celebrity interviews, artists showcase and promotes diversity, entertains and enlightens the music community on the music industry.

The show is about two zombies who live in an underground tomb. One is a rocker and the other a hippie. They have a man-servant who goes out and kidnaps local actors and screenwriters and brings them back to the Underground Lounge where the zombies interview them and showcase their movies. They ply their guests with tasty libations, such as spinal fluid and psychedelic herbs, all the while sizing them up for a late night snack. After the movie clips and interviews are over, the ghouls bid the audience adieu, and proceed to feast on their desired guest. It's a fun time for all, especially for the ghouls! Tune in, turn on, drop dead!
